We reached the fest and I got out of the car and Shaurya went to park it in the parking. Just then I saw a rude guy beating another guy.

I went up to them and said "What are you doing?",

the guy who was beating the other angrily said" None of your business, just stay out of it" and continued beating

"No.... Leave him.... You can't beat him like that!!!!" I tried to stop him.

He stopped for a second and said "See.... Just leave us alone otherwise it'll be really bad for you" and again continued beating.

I came in front of him to stop and said firmly " Sir this is a public place and causing violence in a public place is crime, and I can get you arrested. I don't care who the hell are you but if you don't leave right now, I am going to call the cops" I completed saying taking my phone out.

"You!!! Who the hell are you??!! I am going to show you who I am. You'll regret doing this!!" he said and left.

While I was still figuring out what was going on the other guy said "Thank you!! Thank you so much!!" and left.

Just then, I heard a sound of clapping from behind, I turned to look back and it was Shaurya. He walked towards me,

"Wow Sanya, you did such an amazing job" he said sarcastically.

"What do you mean?" I asked still confused what he meant.

"You can fight anytime, anywhere, with anyone, right?" he said

" That guy was beating an innocent guy" I said with shock, like how can he say that.

"You just need an excuse to get in your "JHANSI KI RANI" form and kill everyone around" he said irritated

(Jhansi ki Rani was an indian warrior for those who don't know)

"Excuse me?" I was not sure what he wanted.

"You know what, I don't know why you feel like you are responsible for everything around you, you are the one who is supposed to take care of everyone, stand up for everyone and be a part of anything and everything, and you know what you end up doing, becoming selfish, doing everything as you want it to be done." He actually shouted on me.

"And what do you do Shaurya? Fear from people and their stupid opinions? Always in a self-doubt, influencing your thoughts with "What people will think of you" and being the people pleaser and making the other person a bad cop. And you know what you end up doing, having guilt, insecurities, fear of missing out and then you don't want that and just want to have what you want, even if that means being childish and hurting others feeling. Shaurya , do even you know what you want? Or are you just a "Confused People Pleaser" Shaurya" I shouted in an even louder voice, making quotation marks with my hands

"Sanya" he screamed

"Looks like someone can't digest the truth here" I said but before he could reply Sambhav and others came to us and

Sambhav asked "What happened guys? Why is your conversation so heated?", both of us glanced at each other awkwardly.

" This girl is always in her Sherni mode, like she rules the place and has to protect everyone under her" he said after a moment.

(Sherni is hindi word for Lioness)

"No, it is all because this boy right next to me. You know the people who can only stand in front of a selected group? Kuyye ke mendak kehte hai unhe" I replied

(Kuye ke mendak kehte hai unhe is use of a idiom)

(English Translation- Such people are said to be the frog in a well)

"Did you just call me a frog?" He asked in shock

"Shukar karo mendak bola hai, warna jo kewal apni gali mein sher ho na use kutta bolte hai"I said rolling my eyes

(Be Thankful I just called you a frog, otherwise the one who is a lion only in his own lane is called a dog. Another idiom)

"Aise ladte huye na tum dono mendak aur sherni se syada kutta aur billi lag rahe ho" Dhruv exclaimed

(You both are fighting like cats and dogs while calling each other frog and lioness)

"Can you both stop this catfight and tell us what happened? " Urvi said gesturing us to stop.

"I was just trying to save an innocent guy from being beaten up" I said

" When you were not asked for? And by threatening the other guy?" Shaurya interrupted

" I just said it was illegal and he could be arrested, and why should I wait for someone to ask for help when I know he wants?" I replied furiously

"You are so concerned about him like you are his mother" he replied firmly.

" You have to stand against unjust" I said turning so that I can face him completely.

He turned and faced our friends and said " In trying to be a hero, she just became a trouble maker"

"What?" I turned him from the shoulder so he faces me and said

"Yes, he is one of our seniors, I saw him in the college with some professors. Everyone is afraid of him and he has really good terms with our professors as well if he spoke anything against you or anyone of us it will be a huge trouble" he replied

" Damn!!" I said

"You know what Sanya, the day you stop taking everyone's responsibility and stop thinking that everyone needs you or standing up for everyone is your moral right we will be in less troubles" he said furiously

" We will be in less trouble when you get to know that it is not always about pleasing people and you have to stand for your rights and against unjust" I said with a raise in my voice

"And talking about that senior I can handle these kinds of people" I said lowering my voice

" As you wish" he said.

"Finally, both of you came back to your senses" Kabir said

"Now can we please go and enjoy" Nishi said

" By the way we saw this beautiful place before you both came but unfortunately you are allowed to go there only once so after we leave you both can go there"

"What? We have to even come home together" both of us said

"Ya, any problem?"

 Both of us glanced at each other for a second and then said

"No, no problem" smiling awkwardly.

All of us played a lot of games , took part in many activities and had a lot of fun. Then , the others left. We went to this beautiful getaway gate, over a man-made lake, it felt like we were in Italy. The way they talked about it did it no justice. It was extremely amazing.

On our way back home, we both were not talking.

"How to ask him why did he got drunk last night?" I thought to myself

Like I know the reason , but definitely have to tell him that's not a way to deal with it so thought of a plan.

"Stop" I said

"What happened" he stopped the car and asked.

I pointed towards a ice cream stall and said " Can you get me that?"

"Am I your servant?" he asked.

"Please" I pleaded

"Okay" he agreed and went.

We went to the fest and then were compelled to even come back home together. We were on the way when Sanya asked me to stop the car and get her an ice cream. I found that strange, but then thought Sanya is unpredictable, she can do anything she want, so I went to buy two cups of ice cream. When I came back, there was a lot of people gathered at some distance, I decided to go and check what went wrong. I went there and what I saw made me jaw-dropped.

What did Shaurya saw? What was the problem? Was it something related to Sanya? What is Sanya's plan? Is this Sanya's plan? Or has something caused more problems in their lives?
