I went up on the stage and asked Tanmay to step aside and sat on the chair against Shaurya and Shaurya asked

"What are you doing Sanya?"

"You already won once against Tanmay, and I wanted to challenge the new champion of arm wrestling" I said with a smile.

"Come on, Sanya don't be silly, I am not fighting with a girl here" He replied leaning back,

"Oh, that means you think you will win, right? Then prove it, I will be really happy to lose" I said leaning forward and he agreed and I won the arm wrestling as I thought.

"Congratulations Sanya" Shaurya said "No need, Shaurya, I was not here to make you lose" I said and got down the stage.

"Sanya" Tanmay called me from behind

"Yup" I turned

"What have you done, even if you won against Shaurya, he didn't challenge you. He challenged me, and I haven't won" Tanmay said with frustration

"Tanmay, even if you would have won today, this cold war would have continued but I showed him that bossing around juniors does not make him a champion" I said and left.

I got down the stage and Aachal came to me and said

"You lost intentionally, right?"

"Doesn't matter" I replied.

"Why do you have grudges for Tanmay, and why does Sanya support him even after being you friend?" she asked

"My friend?" I said laughingly

"This is none of your business, you are a good person stay away from this drama" I continued and left for home.

When I reached home and went in my room and I had Kabir seated on my bed waiting for me

"I don't want to talk to anyone right now" I said

"You need to talk to me" he said coming to me

"why do you hate Sanya so much? Why you need to have issues with everyone related to Sanya?" he continued

"I don't have issues with you and everyone else" I replied

"I was not talking about us" he said

"I don't want to talk about others, and talking about Sanya hate is too simple a word to describe what we have, what we have is not hatred, it is much more, it is chaos, it is mutual disagreement, it is something we both feel but we don't know why and I can't describe it, now leave" I said and tossed on the bed and Kabir left slamming the door.

I was sitting in my room with my hot chocolate when Nishi knocked at my door.

"Come in" I said

"Sanya will you answer my one question?" Nishi said

"Yes?" I said straightening up.

"What history do you have with Shaurya? Why can't you just be normal with him?" she asked

"Why can't I be normal with him? Nishi are you even listening yourself, I try every time to be normal with him, but he has problem with everyone I am with let it be Kunal and Divya or Tanmay, and who the hell is he with Aachal or those Chinmay and Riddha

(I didn't tell you I knew about them, did I? Tanmay was in the passage when he talked to them and listened that Aashi was not someone good and he had grudges with Tanmay due to that),

that Aachal has no self-esteem she said sorry to Aditi when it was Aditi's mistake, like you should respect seniors but need to stand for yourself and those Riddha and Chinmay, they are afraid of that Aashi, their own batchmate man, like seriously, Shaurya is too much of people pleaser and then the choice of people he want to be with even they can't stand for themselves, you know Aditi is controlling for Shaurya and he himself chose it happily and when now she is getting better, he is roaming with that Aachal , like first he needs to please people, raise their expectations with him, then get tired of working with their expectations and hurt those expectations with double intensity, and you want me to ignore all this?"

I took out all the frustration on Nishi

"I get you Sanya, you see something we all have ignored, why don't you talk to Shaurya about this?" Nishi said calming me down

"Like I have not tried that, I did that, and mostly he doesn't want to listen to me and when he listens we end up fighting" I sat on my bed

"Please let me get some rest from this drama Nishi, I need to start planning Dhruv birthday tomorrow onwards" I said and Nishi left disappointedly.

There always have to be a chaos whenever Sanya and Shaurya are together, like I don't want to see them like this, and to be honest I feel Shaurya is keeping a grudge against Tanmay for no reason, I was thinking this in my room when Aditi came to my room

"Dhruv?" she said

"Aditi, I am sorry we can't work on the plan today" I replied looking at her

"no, it's absolutely understandable, what I wanted to ask you is if it is ok with you if we tell this on your birthday?" she asked playing with her hands

"Yeah, totally" I replied.

She nodded and left the room awkwardly. It is all too much drama for everyone to take in.

I woke up and went to make my hot chocolate, when I saw Shaurya in the kitchen, I went and took my cocoa powder, when he said

"Overmorrow is Dhruv's birthday, and I don't want to ruin my best friend's birthday"

(Like I don't want his birthday to be perfect)

"You could have said that politely" I said turning towards him

"Like?" he replied taking a sip from his Almond milk

"Good morning, Shaurya, I need your help with Dhruv's Birthday preparation, would you mind to lend a hand?" I replied

"Sure,11 a.m. Sharp, I will meet you with Aditi" he said and left.

Like wow we are going for my work right. I went and got ready for my classes with a white top and pink knee length skirt, took my laptop, Littman , I'd and left, and texted Aditi to meet at blue bottle Café

I told Aditi to come with me to meet Sanya for planning Dhruv's birthday and tell everyone else to keep him busy while we do this, and got ready for classes with white shirt, blue jeans and a green windcheater because I catch cold really quick. I took my laptop, headset, I'd, tablet and stylus and went for classes with Aditi and on our way to college she told me Sanya texted to meet at blue bottle café, like she could have even texted me, but nevermind.

I went to blue bottle café sharp at 11'o clock but guess what? Shaurya was already there. I went and sat across him placing my bag and said,

"why do you always need to be early" I said

"I don't like to keep people waiting" he replied

"By the way, where is Aditi?" I asked him

"I thought she was your best friend and technically in your class so you should know" he said

"I didn't want to be late, so I didn't notice" I replied.

We waited for 15 mins. "We should order something, we can't just sit here" he said breaking the silence. I called the waiter and he ordered a black coffee with no sugar and I ordered a cappuccino with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and five pieces of sugar.

When the waiter left, he went like "Five?"

"Yup" I said checking my phone when Aditi arrived

"Sorry, I needed to keep Dhruv busy" she said sitting down

"We understand" I replied

"I'll ask them to pack our orders along with a hot pumpkin spiced latte with 2 pumps of milk and 1 cube of sugar just how you like it" Shaurya said to Aditi.

He remembers her order, pretty impressive for him. When Shaurya went to get the take away Aditi told she can get the club arranged while I get the decoration items for tonight and Shaurya gets the catering done along with flavour testing for the cake and after an hour we all will meet up here again.

After one hour, when I collected the sample of the cake for tasting and was coming out of the bakery, I saw Aditi and Sanya coming and due to that and of course due to my carelessness bumped into a man and put the cake over my face ruining both my face and the sample. Aditi came and said

"How can you be so careless Shaurya? Wait I'll get you some tissues from the bakery" while Sanya was laughing on my condition

"Can you stop laughing?" I asked as Aditi went to get tissues

"No, but I guess I have wet wipes in my bag if you want to make me stop laughing" said continuing laughing and taking out wet wipes from her bag.

As she holds it out for me to take it, I signed both my hands are occupied so she cleaned the cream from my face, and that moment I just hoped time stops, she was so close to me and although her hands were not directly on my face, i could still feel her,she was in my space, and i wanted her to stay there, but she threw the wipe and said it's almost clean now you just need to dry it. And at that time Aditi came out with dry tissues, I handed over the packets to Sanya immediately so it looks like I myself cleaned my face, obviously because of her over-possessiveness and took the tissues from her. While I was cleaning my face, Dhruv called me and said he wanted to meet, Aditi said I should go and keep him busy, well I can keep Dhruv busy ;)

We were decorating for Dhruv's birthday when Kunal called randomly, I told him I was preparing for a party

"Wasn't Fresher's party's drama enough?" he asked jokingly

"How do you know about it?" I asked laughing, placing snacks when I realised, we forgot to bring cake.

"Anything happens in my college, I know about it" he said proudly

"yeah, definitely" I replied

"By the way, you didn't tell what was this party for?" he asked

"It's a birthday party" I said trying to figure out what to do about the cake as everyone was busy arranging for the party here, and Shaurya was with Dhruv so he can't bring it

"It is your birthday, I didn't know. Happy birthday, man!!" he replied

"No, my birthday went on 24th august, it's Dhruv's birthday and that to tomorrow, we are planning for a midnight party" I told him

"And seniors are not invited?" he asked

"No, it's nothing like that" I replied

"Okay then Divya and I are coming" he declared, then I thought maybe he can come and bring the cake

"Okay, so if you are coming can you bring Dhruv a birthday cake?" I asked him

"Wow Sanya, I thought you were responsible and here you are planning a birthday party without the birthday cake, never mind I will bring the cake, don't worry, what would you have done without me" he said teasingly

"Don't know" I said laughing off the joke.

I was with Dhruv when he told me Dean ma'am asked him to come up with some sports event as we have been having co-curricular activities but have not had a sports event for college in the past year

(Of course we participated in inter-college and other outside sports events),

and he told me he had the perfect plan with teams as of technology students and medical students , I liked the idea, but told him then we had to be in different teams, to which he said this is not a competition just a friendly sports event and I will be with Sambhav and Kabir and even he will be with Abhinav so I agreed and we went home.

It was 11:30 of 17th October already and we had only half hour to reach home to celebrate Dhruv's birthday at midnight.

What will happen when Shaurya will come to know Kunal and Divya are also coming to his best friend's birthday party? How will this sports game create new drama? What is the plan Aditi and Dhruv have been trying to execute?
